Park has nothing and is just a big parking lot with close sites. Since it is open to the public for the ocean access kids come down at night, get drunk and play music very loud. There is nothing green here, not one flower. If you want to park by the ocean come here but don't be shocked when the dreariness of this place gets to you. It is not worth the effort to get into here in my opinion.

The pictures on the web are not showing the true beauty of this place. The owner just spent thousands on plants and flowers. The clubhouse has a new coat of paint, new tile in the lobby, hanging baskets of flowers are everywhere. I don't know about all the parks in Oregon but I can honestly say that this park is by far the best from the California border all the way to Port Orford, about 130 miles up the coast. The Chetco River is 20 feet away so you dont have to go anywhere to fish, unless you just wanted to. They have a large freezer (locked of course) so you can freeze your catch until ready to leave. Clubhouse has a pool table, treadmill, fooseball table, boflex workout gym and large screen tv both down and upstairs in the clubhouse. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. We are so happy that we extended our stay for 2 months. Free wi-fi, 70 channels of cable tv and very friendly workampers willing to help in any way. One workamper lent me HIS 50 amp extension cord just so I could have a better view of the river. Paid 370 for a month plus electric which was only 34 bucks more. Can't wait till next summer as we plan on staying for 3 full months next year.

Good safe place to stop. Right off I-40 but still very quiet. Level sites made of gravel. Wife said the showers were great and very clean. Did not check out the crater because it was cold here. Would stay here again. Stayed in a fifth wheel.

Very big rig friendly. You are directly behind the Petro Truck stop but you are also far enough away that you can not here any noise. Check out the Iron Skillet at the truck stop. Great food. My site was very level. Paved roads and gravel pull thru spots. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We stayed in a fifth wheel.

Park is great with grass between concrete pads and all have picnic tables. Wide pull thru for the big rigs and still room for my F350 truck parked sideways in front of my pad. Easy access off the highway. Many fast food and sit down restaurants close by. Would stay here again, this park is very quiet.

Very hard dirt sites, like concrete so no problem. Some shade trees but not in bloom this time of year. Very dry here but 70 degrees. My site A-4 is very level. Very big rig friendly with many pull-thru sites. Camping World is right next door. Get here by 2:00PM because after that the sites fill up fast. Price is with Passport America discount.

This park is easy to drive around in. Site are really large. No frills park with level (at least ours was) gravel sites and grass growing in between them. Quiet park. Used Passport American so hence the $16 price. Really dry right now so no green grass yet.

Right off I-5 but quiet. Small shopping center and McDonalds within walking distance. Petro across the highway with Iron Skillet. Very nice stop so decided to stay 2 days. Lady tried hard to give us a discount but we are only Passport America card holders. They honor all other discount cards. Still stayed because of stream outside and nice trees. This is Oregon as I had dreamed of it. Green, light breeze, 80 degrees and just down right pretty around here. Will stay here again. Sites are level and all are pull-thru. Stayed here in a fifth wheel.

Sites are very wide. Parked my 40 ft fiver and my F350 dually crew cab on same site. Sites have water, sewer, and electric on both sides of sites so use either one that fits the bill. Not much out here but several fast food places and 3 places to get diesel very close by. I would stay here again if I come back this way someday. Some shade but that is not something I am interested in as my fiver has the dish on top so I dont like trees much for just a one night stay. Stayed here in a fifth wheel.

Park is almost full of permanents. I would not say this park is big rig friendly either. And wow when you read the website then arrive you are shocked. Waterfall is a pile of rocks by the gate maybe 3 feet high. This is one park where the web pictures are very very misleading. The employee we dealt with was nice.

The pool is clean, and restrooms are upgraded. Almost all the sites are well shaded and level (gravel), with lots of green grass. They are upgrading this park, and we would stay here again. The park is quiet.

Not much out here but the park has level sites and Mike is very nice. He likes dogs also. If you are looking for a getaway place to unwind then come here. If you are looking to be entertained then this park will probably disappoint you. It is quiet here and remote. Would stay again if I pass this way.

Great park. Plenty of room between sites. This was my first day ever pulling and parking my fiver. I let them know ahead of time and she had me in site 91 with no one in site 90 or 92. Susan in the office was great. We signed up for Passport America with her; hence the 17 dollar nightly fee. The people in the park were great also. Visited with several couples who come here for the winter. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wal-mart 5 miles away and plenty of restaurants close-by. Also a giant RV dealership is right on the parking lot beside you so if you need help or parts you only have to walk a short distance for help or repairs. Sites are level and the park is quiet.

This park is right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Casinos all around, if you do that sort of thing. This was only my second day to travel (ever), and told the staff, and they went out of their way to help me. They took me right to my site. Campground is clean and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yes the park has wide spaces to park but the roads are somewhat narrow. The street signs are within a couple of inches of each street corner so beware. The park is clean and the people friendly.

We stayed here for 2 days. Jo Ann is wonderful. We had our pick of sites by either one of the lakes. Jo Ann's husband help me level my fiver. This park is extremely quiet and the view is great. Everything is clean. We used their washer/ dryer. The small lakes are stocked with fish and there are several paddle boats, a Gazebo, and a hot tub. This campground is gated and it required a security code to enter. Simply call the number on the gate and Jo Ann will give you the code to enter. Office is first building on the right. Athens, TX is 5 miles away and has a Wal-Mart if you need it. My neighbor was also very friendly. If you are ready to unwind from a day of travel or just a getaway stop come by here.
